Launching Blogger Video Tutorials

I am very much excited to launch our new section here in Blogger Tricks... "Blogger Video Tutorials". To make sure that you benefit in the best manner from this site, I have been working on this passionately for the past few days and have done about 25 video tutorials. Watch out for more interesting tutorials in the next few days.

Why video tutorials?


Well, to give you guys a fantastic multimedia experience where you can learn four times faster than reading lengthy texts. I saw the amazing result myself; reason enough to awaken myself to the fantastic world of video tutorials. Last year, I had uploaded a blogger tutorial to Youtube, just a basic video with poor quality. But people liked what they saw and I ended up with 50k views and 60+ comments. This gives me a strong reason to believe that video tutorials rock big time and I am going to make sure that all of my readers get the best.

So now, just sit coolly and watch the steps, maximize your learning experience and implement what you've learnt in your blog and watch your blog traffic and revenue rise.



Thanks for all your support and comments. My apologies for not being active for the past 6 months because I was busy with my exams. Now with the worst behind me(my exams..ha ha ha), I am ready to go full throttle on video tutorials, these 25 that I have done should be very useful for the newbies.

How to Add Retweet Button to your Blogger Posts

Since Twitter is getting huge popularity these days, adding a cool Retweet Button to your Blogger blog posts can easily get you some decent amount of traffic and promote your content/products to large people in quick time. If you have tons of followers, then you can easily milk it.. ;)

So, here is how to add a nice Retweet button to your blogspot blog posts:

There are two versions of retweet buttons.. one is the default one (looks like digg button) and the other one is Compact version which can fit in small space..

Adsense Revenue Sharing Feature in Blogger Blogs

This cool trick shows how to implement Google Adsense Revenue sharing feature in blogger(blogspot) blogs:

Do you run a blogger blog which is controlled by multiple authors ? Are you looking for an idea to share revenue with your co-authors? If so, then this nice Blogger trick solves all your problems.

First, What is Adsense Revenue Sharing ?

Suppose, you're the administrator of a blogger blog which has multiple guest authors. If you want to share the blog revenue with them, normally you divide the total revenue based on the Post count or Pageviews. But, most of the time it may not be accurate because CPC and CPM varies from post to post depending on the keywords,etc. So, it may not encourage the team members to post more stuff :(

But, with this cool trick, you can share the blog revenue with them more precisely because every author gets his own ad displayed in all the posts he/she does.

So, lets see how to add this feature to your blog..


For example, If your blog as 3 authors - John, Ricky and Britney

1. Sign into Blogger » Layout » Edit html

2. Tick the "Expand Widget Templates "

3. You can insert the ad anywhere you want in the post body.. In this example, I'll show you how to add it inside the blog post (between the post title and post body)

Find this line:

and Paste the below code above that line

4. Don't Copy and Paste the Adsense Code directly in the template. First, Go to this Blogger Ad Code Converter Page and paste your adsense code in the box provided and click on "Convert Ad Code".
Now, copy that code and paste it in the template.
(Look at the screenshot below)

From now on, Each member of your blog can monetize their posts with their own adsense ads... Happy Blogging :)

Better Post Preview : पब्लिश करने से पहले देखिए पोस्ट कैसी दिखेगी?

ब्लॉग पर पोस्ट पब्लिश करने से पहले हम अक्सर यह सुनिश्चित कर लेना चाहते हैं कि हमने जो लिखा है, जो तस्वीरें लगाई हैं, वे सब ठीक से दिखेंगी भी या नहीं। ब्लॉगर पर फिलहाल एक 'प्रिव्यू' ऑप्शन है, जो पोस्ट एडिटर कम्पोज बॉक्स पर सबसे दाहिने कोने पर दिखता है। इसके जरिए पोस्ट देखने पर एक सफेद बैकग्राउंड में पोस्ट दिखती है। कई बार यहां सही दिखने वाली पोस्ट हमारे ब्लॉग पर ठीक से नहीं दिखती, क्योंकि ब्लॉग की टेम्पलेट का कलर और डिजाइन कुछ और ही होता है। ऐसे में कई ब्लॉगर साथी अपने ब्लॉग के जैसी ही टेम्पलेट का दूसरा प्राइवेट ब्लॉग बनाते हैं, पोस्ट को वहां पब्लिश कर आश्वस्त होते हैं कि पोस्ट ठीक दिख रही है और उसके बाद ही पोस्ट को अपने ब्लॉग पर पब्लिश करते हैं।

इसी परेशानी को ध्यान में रखते हुए अब ब्लॉगर एक नई सुविधा का परीक्षण कर रहा है। Better Post Preview देने वाली इस सुविधा के तहत आप पोस्ट को पब्लिश करने से पहले ही देख कर अनुमान लगा सकते हैं कि यह पोस्ट आपके ब्लॉग की टेम्पलेट के साथ कैसी दिखेगी। इस सुविधा का इस्तेमाल फिलहाल केवल ब्लॉगर इन ड्राफ्ट की मदद से ही किया जा सकता है। जानकारी के लिए बता दें कि ब्लॉगर अपनी सुविधाओं को सार्वजनिक करने से पहले उनका परीक्षण ब्लॉगर इन ड्राफ्ट पर ही करता है।

अब जानते हैं वह तरीका, जिससे आप पोस्ट को पब्लिश करने से पहले ही जांच सकते हैं कि आपकी पोस्ट आपके ब्लॉग पर कैसी दिखेगी?

1. ब्लॉगर इन ड्राफ्ट खोलिए और इस पर लॉग इन कीजिए।

2. पोस्ट एडिटर में प्रविष्ठि लिखिए, तस्वीरें लगाइए। यहां आपको नीचे की तरफ एक अतिरिक्त बटन Preview दिख रहा होगा।


3. Preview पर क्लिक कीजिए और देख लीजिए कि आपकी पोस्ट यहां कैसी दिख रही है।



आवश्यक संशोधन के बाद आप यहीं से अपनी पोस्ट को प्रकाशित कर सकते हैं।

ज़्यादा जानकारी के लिए यह पोस्ट देखी जा सकती है।

आज का दिन (6 अप्रैल) हिन्दी ब्लॉग टिप्स के लिए काफी ख़ास है। अतीत को देखें तो दो साल पहले इसी दिन इस छोटे से मंच के जरिए देश-दुनिया में फ़ैले आप जैसे सम्माननीय व सुधि साथियों के साथ जीवंत संपर्क का सिलसिला शुरू हुआ था। सिलसिला अनवरत जारी है और आप लोगों से मिला प्यार, सराहना और अपनापन ही इस ब्लॉग की सबसे बड़ी पूंजी है। आप लोगों के साथ बीता एक-एक लम्हा मेरी ज़िंदगी के सबसे ख़ूबसूरत लम्हों में शुमार रहा है। मैं आप सभी का (व्यक्तिगत नाम इसलिए नहीं ले पा रहा हूं, क्योंकि फ़ेहरिस्त बहुत बड़ी है) आभार जताता हूं कि आपने हिन्दी ब्लॉग टिप्स पर अपना भरोसा जताया और इसे इतना अपनापन दिया।

सालगिरह के मौक़े पर आपके साथ चंद 'गुड न्यूज़' बांटना चाहता हूं। पहली ख़बर यह कि जिस छोटे से पौधे हिन्दी ब्लॉग टिप्स को आपने अपनेपन और सहयोग के नीर से निरंतर सींचा है, वह अब विशाल वृक्ष का स्वरूप लेने की तैयारी में है। इसे एक विस्तृत पेशेवर वेबलॉग के रूप में लॉन्च किए जाने की तैयारियां चल रही हैं। यह परिवर्तन कब और कैसे होना है, इसकी जानकारी जल्द ही सार्वजनिक की जाएगी।

दूसरी ख़बर यह है कि साथियों की तकनीकी सहायता के लिए सप्ताह में किसी एक दिन दो घंटे के लिए एक हैल्पलाइन की शुरुआत की भी योजना है, जिससे ब्लॉगर साथियों की तकनीकी परेशानियों को व्यक्तिगत रूप से समझा और सुलझाया जा सके। इसके लिए संपर्क का ज़रिया फ़ोन और टैक्स्ट-ऑडियो-वीडियो चैट रहेगा। इसकी शुरुआत की घोषणा भी जल्द की जाएगी।

हिन्दी ब्लॉग टिप्स का उद्देश्य ब्लॉगर साथियों के लिए ब्लॉगिंग के अनुभव को सरल और मज़ेदार बनाकर ब्लॉगिंग को बढ़ावा देना है। उम्मीद है कि आप सभी साथियों का सहयोग पूर्ववत मिलता रहेगा.. पुनः आभार।
